The Story of The Unusual Shoppe
or The Tale of Modern Day Treasure Hunters

Once upon a time ... there was a man who collected things. His favorite things were old postage stamps, old coins, interesting antiques, anything regarding the sea and books, books, books.
At the same time... there was a woman (and her daughter) who also collected things. Their favorite things were old dolls, interesting antiques, handmade creations, all kinds of art, and books, books, books.

To make a long story short... the man married the woman, their collections were merged and Treasure Hunting became a family pastime.

Time went by and their collections grew. It filled bags, and boxes, and shelves, and cupboards, and spare rooms, and basements, and attics and garages. They bought a huge building and still they kept hunting, finding and collecting.

Well, you may think that they ran out of room and had to stop, but that isn't the case. They simply came to the understanding that by offering for sale the treasures they found, they could bring joy to other treasure hunters, and could justify more treasure hunting of their own . . .
and so The Unusual Shoppe was born.

The family's initial inventory in The Unusual Shoppe was just the beginning. It filled the shelves and got things started. Everyone has treasures in their closets, their attics, their basements. Many have fabulous items they've created by hand. Everyone is invited to join the fun.
